New Look Website

Today we've launched our new look website. Over the coming months we are upgrading other area of the site to better serve our loyal customers and make it easier to buy direct from Ferguson Hill. You'll notice mainly for now, that we've simplified the Home and Product pages. Over the coming weeks the rest of the site will also be updated with further additions. FH007 wins MacFormat group test

The FH007 has won a group test by UK's leading Apple magazine- Mac Format. Ferguson Hill were assessed and compared with 6 other leading Multimedia speaker systems including Bang & Olufsen Beolab 4, Eclipse TD307 PAII, Genelec 6001A, Dynaudio Mc 15 and Scandyna Micropod SE Active. The FH007 came first in 4 of the 6 categories including the important "Sound Quality" and "Value for Money" test, and was judged as the overall winner. Mac Format's final judgement is below: "The Ferguson Hill FH007 - A speaker package that's beautifully easy to set up and use, won't break the bank and delivers astonishing sound for the money. Canada Celebrates a Win.

We have a new competition this month. Everyone who enters and provides a correct answer will win a prize ranging from small merchandise items to gift vouchers. You may agree with the late great Lester Bangs that anyone who declares the Beatle's their favourite group has suspect musical taste probably formed by attending to many "Hall of Fame" museums or watching too many "greatest 100 lists" programmes on TV. And I agree, but Ferguson Hill is a democracy and those of us who were born and even remember the 60's insist that we make them our artist of the month. So let it be. In the end we decided to play them all and see which tracks play best with the FH007 & FH008. In the end we choose songs with vocals, guitar intro's and bass riffs that are fantastically captured by our system. First view of the sub woofer packaging

Our branding consultants MJHDL have finalized the packaging design for the new FHOO8 Subwoofer – available from April 2007. Carrying on from where the FHOO7 left off, the FHOO8 packaging evokes the spirit of playful but solid build inherent in the FHOO8. The large tri-tone lettering wraps around 3 of the 4 elevations of the packaging spelling out SUB-WOOF-ER. When seen from a certain angle, the bulldog on the right side panel appears to be listening to the subwoofer illustrated on the front, in homage to the other canine that once listened to a horn speaker, many years ago… |
